Account & Profile Data

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and Google account information. If you register as a tester, we additionally collect your phone number, country, and device details to match you with relevant testing campaigns.

Device & Usage Data

• Device identifiers used for fraud prevention and account security.
• App usage data collected through Android usage access, used only to verify genuine activity for assigned test apps and reward eligibility.
• Installed app information used only to confirm required test apps are installed.

Communications

When you contact us or participate in testing campaigns, we collect the content of your messages, feedback, and bug reports.

Payment Data

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our servers.

• To match testers with relevant developer campaigns.
• To verify that you genuinely used the assigned test app for check-ins, anti-fraud review, and reward eligibility. We do not use this data for advertising.
• To communicate with you about your account, campaigns, and platform updates.
• To ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

• Service Providers: We share data with Firebase (cloud infrastructure) and Stripe (payment processing) to operate the platform.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of OnTesters and its users.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
• With Your Consent: We will ask for your explicit consent before sharing your data for any purpose not covered by this policy.

We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL encryption for data transmission, secure cloud infrastructure through Firebase, and access controls to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain (such as financial records for tax purposes).

OnTesters is intended for users aged 13 and above, or the applicable age of digital consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
